Turkey's Tobacco and alcohol Market Regulatory authority has imposed several new restrictions on the sale and advertising of booze. It has banned alcohol ads in sports activities and sports clubs. It has also banned supermarkets and other stores from placing alcoholic beverages near products that may attract children and required caterers that serve alcohol to get a separate license before each event they cater.
