Say What?
John Haynes, an eighth-grade math teacher at California's Selby Lane School, didn't like the answers he was getting from students one day, so he launched into a profanity-laced tirade, threatened to throw things, and knocked over a desk. He so frightened one student that she called 911. When police arrived, they determined he hadn't done anything illegal. School officials say that Haynes will be placed on medical leave for the rest of the school year and required to take anger management counseling but he will keep his job.
