All students? Regardless of merit? Sounds like Communism to me.
Re: Fist of Etiquette,
That's their first lesson - wait until you see what the 'lodging' and 'meals' consist of...
All students that are accepted to attend a seminar, dumbass
He was joking, dumbass

Professors are available throughout the seminar to discuss lecture topics ? it's like office hours for one week!
Why is this a selling point? The only office hours I've ever been to are my own, and only because I had to in order to get paid.
Because students like to interact with professors who will engage them in a serious discussion about these ideas. And it's nice to have those discussions in an informal setting, like at lunch, or during a break, or over a beer at the end of the day.
And that is like office hours because....
Awesome! I actually just applied for a summer internship at the Reason Foundation through IHS's Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program as well as an IHS journalism internship internship. IHS offers a lot of great opportunities for libertarian students and grads. You guys should really check them out if you want a career in journalism or public policy.
These are great programs for students. If you are a college or grad student interested in classical liberal/libertarian ideas, you should not miss the chance to attend an IHS seminar.
Thinking of applying. Has anyone actually gone to one of these? Worth the time?
Definitely, I have been to 2, and hope to go again this year before I start work. Lot's of fun, you meet really cool people, and free beer every night!!
