Good News Whiplash on the Low-Power Radio Front

|

My column last week was about the Local Community Radio Act, a bill that would expand the number of stations allowed to operate on the FM dial. At the time, I wrote, Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wy.) had placed a hold on the measure, preventing it from moving forward. I'm happy to report that Barrasso has lifted his hold, clearing what will hopefully be the last major hurdle before the bill can become law.

Update: Sigh: There's some new anonymous holds on the legislation. Back into the sausage factory!
