Bernanke makes such a habit of bringing other people into the bathroom with him that his wife felt it necessary to check? She should be more concerned that he keeps a stove pipe hat in there and is playing with her lipstick. Also, anti-semitic!

    Otherwise, acceptable.

    1. Suki   15 years ago

      Therefore not racist.

      Good morning.

      1. Rather   15 years ago

        Good morning Suki

        Sugarfreeing

        1. Suki   15 years ago

If you can, I can too.
Better Business Bureau gives Hamas an "A-" and Starbucks an "F".
Hamas girl: "In yo' face Hezbollah! BOOM!"
          Barista: "F-you BBB, I'm not even a F'n member!"

      2. PIRS   15 years ago

        Good morning Suki.

      3. Almanian   15 years ago

Heil Good morning, racists Suki and other Reasonoids!

        1. a penny a day keeps Obama away   14 years ago

Ah, libertarians must be racists. That's why we don't agree with Obama. Got it.

  2. MikeP   15 years ago

All quantitative easing and no laissez faire makes Ben a dull boy.

    Garfield wins.

    1. robc   15 years ago

      As predicted yesterday.

    2. PIRS   15 years ago

Yes, this cartoon less likely to lead to a debate about the Kennewic Man!

      1. hehe   15 years ago

        Prove it!

      2. 3 inch spear head   15 years ago

I am relatively near Joshua Corning's home...it would not be hard for him to come get me and impale me in Ben's dark heart.

And this time the violence will be motivated by government.

  8. TJ McSmartass   15 years ago

    even Marmaduke is funnier

    1. Howard Huge   15 years ago

      Hey, don't forget me!

    2. joshua corning   15 years ago

  9. Shitty Friend   15 years ago

robc, no shit. Man, this is an all-time "Friday Funnies" low point.

Funniest thing from last week's Friday Funnies:
    http://rctlfy.wordpress.com/2010/11/07/mindfuck/

    1. Rather   15 years ago

      Ok,give me a clue...and I'm Sugarfreeing this one.

      1. Shitty Friend   15 years ago

          LOL< I Sugarfreed my Sugarfreeing

          1. Joshua Corning   15 years ago

Why the fuck does RC Dean get his own category!?!?!

Bullshit favoritism and you guys secret blogs away from reason.com and inside jokes are bullshit.

    2. a penny a day keeps Obama away   14 years ago

      How bleek

  10. Mango Punch   15 years ago

OMG! FRIDAY FUNNIEEEEEESS!!!! I've waited all week for this! And it's felt like an eternity!!! I AM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

  11. Ben Bernanke   15 years ago

That's Dr. Bernanke! You'll be hearing from the IRS!

  12. JoshINHB   15 years ago

Why did he write "buy bonds" backwards on his shirt?

    1. Almanian   15 years ago

You win the Sherlock Holmes award for observational skills for that one, JoshNHB!

      1. Pro Libertate   15 years ago

You see, but you do not observe.

    2. snortimer   15 years ago

He wrote it on the mirror.

The real question is why he's standing at an angle to his own reflection. It's almost as if he knows the 'camera' is there.

  13. Almanian   15 years ago

Meh. Apparently, the death of the Friday Funnies - about which I posted sometime back - was, in hindsight, greatly exaggerated. But shouldn't it be.

  14. creech   15 years ago

When you think about it, most editorial cartoons aren't more than mildly amusing. Then there's Tony Auth's crap in the Phila. Inkwire - so bad and biased I refuse to buy the paper.

    1. Anomalous   15 years ago

Or Tom Toles in the Wash. Post.

  15. Spoonman.   15 years ago

Why is there so much of rectal's blog spam?

    1. Colon   15 years ago

Beats the shit out of me!

      1. Rather   15 years ago

Spoonman, I know you missed me 😉

        1. a penny a day keeps Obama away   14 years ago

Hey Dan - everyone misses you. But their aim is getting better.

  16. Spoonman.   15 years ago

Also, where the fuck are the morning links? I have some upcoming-riots-in-China news I think is interesting.

  17. Mo   15 years ago

This is somewhere between B.C. and Broom Hilda on the humorous comic scale.

  18. sage   15 years ago

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHA!

  19. BeltwayLurker   15 years ago

How many days left in th 8 day begathon? Who is independantly auditing this circus to make sure the torch icon is accurate?

  20. Episiarch   15 years ago

It's been a long time since I was up early enough to check the Friday Funnies, and now I know why I don't give a shit. His name is Chip Bok.

    1. Pro Libertate   15 years ago

I'd say, "If it's so easy, do it yourself," but Hit & Run unwisely took away our ability to post in-line images in the comments section.

      So, no comment.

  21. Anonymous   15 years ago

I thought Ben's face in the first panel was funny.

  22. P Brooks   15 years ago

Is that Bernanke? Why does he have gills? Is there something (else) they're not telling us?

  23. Fiscal Meth   15 years ago

Bok Didn't even need a cartoon the header was funny enough.

    "Ben Bernanke helps the economy"

  24. tiffany jewellery   14 years ago

Ben's face in the first panel was funny

  25. tiffany jewellery   14 years ago

Ben's face in the first panel was funny

  27. Francesco Sinibaldi   14 years ago

With hair falling over the shoulders.

    In the soft
    chirping of
    the new day
    there's a delicate
    quietness, and
    even a fantasy,
    like a velvety
    flight in the
    sound of a word.

    Francesco Sinibaldi

  28. nike shoes UK   14 years ago

  29. Kevin Durant Shoes   14 years ago
