The Principal
Andrew Buck, principal of New York's Middle School for Art and Philosophy, has a problem with textbooks…and grammar and spelling and punctuation. Buck sent an email to teachers who had complained about the lack of textbooks. In the letter, which was riddled with misspellings, run-on sentences, improper use of words, and incorrect punctuation, Buck claimed that textbooks, or as he repeatedly called them "text books," aren't necessary for learning, that some of their students can't read them anyway, and that textbooks put him to sleep when he was in college.
