Managing Editor Jesse Walker will be on the Winnipeg radio station CJOB tonight from about 10:10 to 10:25, central time, to talk about the ways people beat the fun out of Halloween. Those of you who do not have the good fortune to live in the Winnipeg area can listen via the Internet.

"...the good fortune to live in the Winnipeg area..."

    *Contemplates living in Winnipeg*

    *Shudders*

*Contemplates seppuku as a preferable alternative.*

Since you're on late-night radio, why not go for the gusto? Go on Coast to Coast AM to talk about libertarian extraterrestrials.

  3. Episiarch   15 years ago

Why the hell is Jesse in Winnipeg?!?

    1. Aresen   15 years ago

The USBS turned his plane back?

      1. dfd   15 years ago

I thought he was on the no-fly list...

    2. Jesse Walker   15 years ago

Why the hell is Jesse in Winnipeg?!?

I am in Baltimore. Winnipeg will be receiving my voice via the new miracle invention, the "telephone."

      1. Episiarch   15 years ago

        Wow, Baltimore might be worse.

        1. BakedPenguin   15 years ago

          "might"?

        2. BakedPenguin   15 years ago

I actually applied for a job in Winnipeg. I probably wouldn't apply for a job in Baltimore.

But it's differences of opinion that make horse racing, etc.

          1. Sarcasmo 2000?   15 years ago

Baltimore currently has one of the best job markets in the nation.
I am not making this up.

Since the incandescent light bulb will soon be illegal will the government soon ban telephones as well?

        1. Isaac Bartram   15 years ago

          OT, but

A German businessman is getting around a law banning incandescent bulbs by selling them as "Heat Balls".

For some reason, Reason's spam filter won't let me post a link.
