Leave It to the Professionals
When a 13-year-old girl fell out of Ryan Daniel Snodgrass's raft into Colorado's Clear Creek, he called the local rescue unit. Then, the professional rafting guide began searching for her himself. When he found her, he swam to her. For that, he was arrested by the local sheriff's office for "obstructing government operations" The sheriff claimed Snodgrass had interfered in the rescue, but local rafting guides say the sheriff's office seemed more concerned about who was in charge than the safety of the girl.
