Dwile Flonking

|

Long ago, someone in East Anglia, England, decided to soak a rag in beer, put it on a pole, and use the pole to toss the rag at someone. That evolved into the sport of dwile flonking. And last year, several people in Ludham decided to organize the first world championship in the sport. But a day before the championship was to be held, the local council informed organizers the event was illegal under a recently passed national law banning drinking games. Organizers got around the ban by requiring players to drink ginger beer instead of alcoholic drinks while playing.
