Don't Ask Me No Questions

|

For years, The Mercury, the student newspaper at Spokane Valley, Washington's University High School has asked students a question and printed their answers. In one recent issue, they asked "If you could be famous for anything, what would you be famous for?" Many of the answers were jokes, but school officials weren't laughing at the humor. In particular, they were upset that students answered "Dropping a nuke on the Middle East," "Being JFK's assassin," "Leader of the KKK," and "Killing the president with a trident." Not only did they confiscate and destroy almost all copies of the paper, they are also investigating the students who gave those answers. You know, just in case one of them did kill JFK.
