Attn, DC Reasonoids: Reason Saves Cleveland Release Party This Wednesday at Reason's DC HQ!
Please join Reason's D.C.-based staff for a happy hour to celebrate the release of the Reason.tv series, Reason Saves Cleveland With Drew Carey: How to fix the "Mistake on the Lake"—and other once great American cities, on Wednesday, March 24 from 6 - 8 PM at Reason's DC HQ.
In the six episode series, Drew Carey hosts a look at how his hometown and other once-great American cities can get back on track by curbing runaway municipal spending, ending the "edifice-complex" approach to redevelopment, and embracing proven market-driven solutions to improve city services. For more information and to watch the series go here.
On Wednesday, we'll show clips from the Reason.tv series and excerpts from a special episode of Fox Business' Stossel featuring Drew Carey and Nick Gillespie talking about Reason Saves Cleveland With Drew Carey and the revitalization of American cities. Reason Foundation President David Nott and Reason.tv Editor in Chief Nick Gillespie will give short remarks and field audience questions. Thanks to the generosity of Lagunitas Brewery and the Distilled Spirits Council of America, we'll be serving beer, wine, and cocktails to keep the discussion flowing throughout the evening.

Reason Saves Cleveland With Drew Carey @ Reason's DC HQ. Me thinks you need someone new in PR.
Too true - When is the "Attention Cleveland area Reasonoids" announcement. Thanks for showing even Reason can fall victim to "inside the Beltway" cluelessness.
Cleveland is an idea, not a destination.
Good, any problems with the idea can be resolved in one's mind. Fixed it for you, Drew.;-)
Someone needs to do an analysis of what will happen to health insurance premiums in Cleveland under the new bill.
I'm guessing between adverse selection and community rating, they are going up. Way up. That'll do wonders for economic development.
One would think you would at least go for some Great Lakes Brewing Company beers...
Nephilium
good call.
The old Dawg pound was also an experience. kinda scary 🙂
why no coverage about the CCF and how it rocks for medicine?
.
Glad to see Reason cares about Cleveland....but not enough to actually go there.

What, you're too cool to have a Reason party that I can actually go to? For a magazine called reason...
We should have our own Cleveland area Reasonoid meeting. And not invite them. But Nick can send his jacket.
No way. If I ever go to a Reason party, I'm challenging Radley to a game of cigarette chicken.
Sounds pretty reasonalbe to me dude, I like it.

The other "Reason Saves Cleveland" event was in New York City. When do we get an event in Cleveland itself?
When you have fixed Cleveland, that's when.
When they first started promoting the "Reason Saves Cleveland" feature, I thought it would be alot of fun to meet the gang, but I really was just hoping they'd send Lobster Girl.
I even had a Gil Flores baseball card to give Matt as a Welcome to Cleveland gift.
Why the hell isn't this in Cleveland? There are never any good libertarian events to go to around here...
