So are these things sausages fests or clam bakes?
The beard ratio must be above 3/4.
Any man there is either gay, single or has a stepford wife. Couldn't have picked a more palatable date?
Damn, my first thought was despite a fair amount of drinking there isn't likely to be much sex.
Au contrair, a marriage has in fact resulted from an SFL conference. Also, IHS seminars are great for libertarian hook ups.
"How to Survive a Police Encounter"
Kudos.
Finally - useful instruction for our youth.
Re: Shrike,
Well - Good luck to you.
Hey, gang - a Keynesian in our midst, and a very credulous one at that!
And on Feb. 26-27, it's the Federalist Society Symposium on Originalism, in Philly.

Are the SCCoC coming?
Natural rights are the gifts of our Creator, not government. It is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, describing individual freedom. It only exists in America and is under assault today. Free individuals are the only pebble-droppers; the nails sticking up that government people are afraid of tripping over and seek to hammer down. It also means individual self-interest is more important than are the interest of communities. Obama and modern Democrats are opposed to that, as they are united in their support of Rousseau and Marx, not Jefferson and Madison.
