Most excellent article.
Yes, I violated the DNRTFA tradition here before posting.
Brian points out that the gun control freaks will continue to try to pass insane roadblocks to our individual right to keep arms that is preserved by, not created by, the Second Amendment.
Where the hell has Doherty been?
Where the hell has Doherty been?
Cahalifoornya.
Where the hell has Doherty been?
He's on leave, writing a book about Heller.
I really think th big thing being missed here, and that I avoided commenting on hoping others would notice it, is the real truth of why these laws are in place in big cities and most norther States: racism.
The Rich White Liberals who run everything in those places, even if the government is fronted by "a person of color", just don't want their citizens of color to easily purchase handguns.

I was thinking the same thing. He's one of my favorite writers here, so it's good to hear that he's still around.

This Motown resident finds that statement ridiculous.
you didn't notice "guy montag" in the poster heading, j sub d?
it's his thing, man.

You mean Orange and White day?
A book? Ok, I guess. I was hoping he was re-launching Cherry Smash Records.
I semi-borrowed a line from his article for my myspace blog "the worst part of the law is the implication that..." Thanks, Brian!
Thanks for missing me, some of you. Hard at work on a book about this very gun control case and all the legal, historical, and empirical issues surrounding it....I'll be back fulltime at Reason by or before Autumn.
