City officials in Treviso, Italy, have told Chinese restaurants there to remove the decorative lanterns they display in windows. Authorities say the lanterns look too Oriental. "Treviso is a city of Veneto and Padania, it's certainly not an oriental city," deputy mayor Giancarlo Gentilini said. Officials say they will be keeping an eye on the restaurants and looking at other decorations, too.
