It's a Dirty Job
In London, England, the Ealing Council is spending $285,000 a year on plainclothes police officers who hunt down people who put their trash out too early. "They are being heavy-handed. We are living in a world where everything we do is watched and regulated. George Orwell has arrived. If you go to work early it is difficult to get it right with the rubbish," said tax reform advocate Christine Melsom.
