No Struggle
"The best way to deal with evil is to address it, to look at it, to get to know it, but not to ignore it," said author Yann Martel. Officials at the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.'s CBC Radio seem to feel differently. They refused to allow Martel to read portions of Mein Kampf during an appearance discussing the book. The CBC asked Martel to discuss the book because he was doing a public reading of it later that night. The reading was part of a Freedom to Read Week program.
