Iraq Commander To Get on the Job Training
Inspiring testimony from the Bush admin's new man in Iraq:
The admiral picked by President Bush to oversee his new strategy for Iraq testified yesterday that he does not know much about the plan that the administration says will determine whether the U.S. wins the war.
"I have not gotten into the detail of these plans," Adm. William J. Fallon told the Senate Armed Services Committee, adding that he has been concentrating on his current job as head of the U.S. Pacific Command.
Adm. Fallon specifically declined to endorse Mr. Bush's plan, saying he first has to get to the region and assess matters.

"Don't worry, they got little training disks they insert into the back of your neck... one moment you're totally clueless, and the next it's all like 'Whoa... I know kung fu.'"
This reminds me of "Duck Soup." So when do we see the al-Qaeda leader with his head through a door being pelted with fruit?
Or is that forbidden post-Abu Ghraib?
It'll work out okay. Denzell Washington will drive him around on his first day and show him the ropes. What could go wrong?
it doesn't matter much anyway. Petraeus will be running the show over there.
