If You Give Only One Magazine as a Gift Subscription This Year, Make It Reason! Order By Dec. 2 To Ensure a Christmas Delivery!
Here's a great gift idea: a subscription to Reason, the "kick-ass, no-holds-barred political magazine" (The New York Post) that has been named one of "The 50 Best Magazines" for three out of the past four years by the Chicago Tribune (read more praise here and here).
A year's gift subscription--11 issues--costs just $20 for the first gift and then a mere $17 for any extras. And as long as you place your order by December 2, we'll guarantee that the recipient receives his or her first issue by Christmas.
You must use this special URL in order to qualify for delivery by Christmas (sorry, no renewals allowed via this promotion). So order today--and give the gift of Reason.
Bonus endorsements:
"Reason is less predictable and more interesting than any other political magazine I read"—Glenn Reynolds, Instapundit.com

"Reason is the undiscovered magazine of America. The magazine surprises with new perspectives and unexpected ideas. That's just what America needs today."—Jeff Jarvis, creator of Entertainment Weekly and proprietor of Buzzmachine.com

"Reason manages to offend leftists with its defense of biotechnology, free trade and school choice, even as it appalls conservatives by supporting gay marriage, open immigration and drug legalization."--The Columbus Dispatch

I let my subscription lapse when I was banned. Will have to resubscribe. Reason is the 2d best mag I know of, and that is pretty good!
and, no, Gigantic Asses is not my number 1.
No, December 2 is the most important date because that's the date of the Putnam Exam!
First you dis Kenny by leaving him out of the ads for the Amsterdam party.
Now you leave him off the cover.
Kenny is probably the most libertarian of the characters/kids.
Are you telegraphing a change in the same way that commies do, by 'disappearing' people no longer in line with the propaganda of the libIntern?
Is he hidden in an undisclosed location?
Or worse, have you done with him what Sears did to Roebuck?!!!!?
Well???
Wow! There's a magazine too!?
I've been lukewarm on Reason for about 5 years. I renewed a couple of years ago only because some kid came to the door and wouldn't go away unless I renewed some magazine sub through him.
Now I think I'm just going to let it lapse. The post about Santorum's kids was the last straw. The comments were worse - I don't want to be associated with those people, ever.
Richard R. let his subscription lapse for about the same reason I finally bought a subscription.
The comments were worse - I don't want to be associated with those people, ever.
If you mean the ones complaining about the post, I agree.
So, now we're recycling the comments as well as well as the original post?
I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome the blue-haired new Reason girl.
Best.pop-up ad. ever.
On a serious note guys, Reason is a light hearted romp for the whole family. A must have for the holiday season.
Seriously,
Who is the babe with the blue hair in the santa teddy that is in the pop up ad?
John,
Seriously, do you think they are going to give a name and number, or what?
"Seriously, do you think they are going to give a name and number, or what?"
Well why not? Not like anything bad has ever happened from internet stalkers or anything.
You now have a popup that sneaks past Firefox's protections and my adblock filters. Very clever. Not terribly endearing, but clever. I don't like the advertising arms race.

However, they are willing to pass water on just about anyone.

Best.pop-up ad. ever.
Reason has pop-ups? Reason has ads? Crap, I really need to change the settings on Firefox so I can see these said "hot blue haired girls".
kwix,
I believe you can just hold down the shift key and it will let the pop-ups come. I wouldn't want you to have to suffer any other pop-ups 🙂
