Now, About That Moose

|

Jack Garrison received a notice of almost $1,400 in fines on charges ranging from a barking dog to a squirrel at large. Garrison, who owns neither a dog nor a squirrel, was mystified. It turns out that someone called Melbourne, Florida, police to report Garrison was feeding squirrels in his backyard, and a computer program automatically printed out the charges. City officials have apologized for the mistake.
