They're Gonna Put Me in the Movies
A film crew was shooting a scene in a campground near Loveland, Colorado, when things got a little too real. In the scene, a character has taken a girl hostage. They had been filming for several hours when they were surrounded by members of the Larimer County SWAT team pointing M-16s at them. For 30 minutes, the officers forced cast and crew to lie on the ground, and when they tried to explain, the officers just told them to shut up. "They told me they were going to send rounds my way," said one actor. Everyone was finally let go, but the lead actor was cited for disorderly conduct and the director for accessory to disorderly conduct, even though they had a permit from the park to film.
