Found: A Printable NCAA Tournament Diagram
The Web continues to disappoint in that it took me five tries to get a fershlugginer readable/printable copy of the NCAA Men's basketball tournament selections, but here it is, in all its Big East glory: http://cbs.sportsline.com/collegebasketball/mayhem/brackets/viewable_men.
And here's the women's: http://www.ncaasports.com/basketball/womens/brackets/viewable/2006/DIII. The women's brackets for Division I aint yet set.
And here's some coverage of the inevitable outrage at the crummy picks.
And as a Temple alum (MA, 1990) and Owls bball fan, all I can say is thank god, John Chaney[*] is finally retiring. The most scarifying and sanpaku visage in college hoops this side of Jerry Tarkanian and a great coach, yes--and one especially beloved by his players--but goddamn, his style of play meant that every game was an extended Maalox moment.
Let's see, Reason counts among its staffers a Tar Heel[#], a Huskie, a Hoya, a Gator, and a Fighting Illini. So let them start the arguments and predictions of winning and woe.

Hmm... would the singular be a "Fighting Illinus?"
According to the AOL article, his surname is spelled "Chaney", rather than Cheney.
[*] corrected mispelling. I plead only Cheney-on-the-brain.
Nick,
The womens' brackets are for division III.
BTW, those are the women's Division III brackets you linked to, which started 2 weekends ago. (Sadly, the Violets got bounced in the first round.) They changed things this year and aren't announcing the women's bracket until Monday night.
Go 'Cuse!
It's "Tar Heel". Two words.
I have at this point clearly created an error-prone entry and have fixed two mistakes. For the sake of my sanity, please disregard all further mistakes.

Way to set high standards, Nick! 😉
Come on, Nick, show some of that famous libertarian Personal Responsiblity (TM) and correct "Tarheels"!!!
[#] Corrected mispelling of Tar Heel. But really, that's the last crx.
And when you guys finish arguing about basketball, you can compare your collections of Star Trek memorabilia. Speaking of which, I am shocked that Ted "I was a teenage prop freak" Eckel was ripped off by the Franklin Mint's pewter phaser (dating, I guess, from the Federation's Colonial Era). I love their commemorative plates! (And I bet I've got 'em all!) My friends never get tired of seeing them!
I vowed not to mock pro-sports and their fans this year. I never said anything about college sports...
I hope UConn is eliminated early, as I work at a Hartford TV station and airing the homecoming rally and parade are pains in the ass.
Have it be known that the Tar Heel nation is irate at being sent to the wilds of Dayton -- Motto: At least we're Not Cincy -- instead of an hour away in Greensboro.
The backstory to that little move is constant bitching from coach k and dook over the fact that when both UNC and dook were slotted in Charlotte for last year's NCAA first-round, dook fans were swamped by Tar Heel faithful who loudly booed dook at every opportunity.
A friend of mine even went so far as to make-up instant Delware St. t-shirts featuring a logo from the web and some bizarre software to create an iron-on. Two Hanes beefy Ts later, we were the loudest, most intense Del. St. Hornet (I think they were Hornets) fans in the building.
dook beat the Hornets anyway but I'm sure they felt the hate.
It might be worth the drive to Greensboro to boo K-Rat anyway.
I'll second that - let someone else have the overturned and torched cars, rioting, and extra police expenses. (And yes, I know I griped about that on H&R before.)
JMJ
Duke will not make the final four. Redick may be the best that ever played the game, but a one-man offence can always be stopped, and Duke has no bench.
If it were up to me, all colleges from the state of North Carolina would be playing their tournament games in Iraq.
Who is the Gator on staff? I got my B.S. at Florida in 1988 (during the Norm Sloan years).
Reason counts among its staffers a Tar Heel[#], a Huskie, a Hoya, a Gator, and a Fighting Illini.
Shame on all these libertarians attending state schools. Go Hoyas.
Have to put in my plug - go Gators! (Like a good libertarian I went to the University of Chicago, but I was born in Florida's university hospital while my father was there for his master's, and UF's always been my team...)
Who is the Gator on staff?
Brian Doherty, I believe.
Go Albany!!!
Go ILLINI!!
Gerry! Gerry! Gerry! Let's go Orange!!
Let's go WBC!! Mercifully providing us with something to watch besides college basketball!
Actually, if your staffer is from UConn they would be a Husky not a Huskie. I'm just sayin'.
C'mon, Nick, do Waquoit right and make it the Most! Corrected! Reason! Post! Ever!
More substantively, I think Villanova's gonna have more trouble than you'd think in that first game.
I'll be the third - Go Gators!
[#] Corrected mispelling of Tar Heel. But really, that's the last crx.
You also misspelled 'misspelling'.
Utah State! Go Aggies!!
I just knew that UF was a libertarian stronghold, and I guess I was right, seeing all the pro-Gator statements so far. Reason should relocate to Gainesville. Or to Tampa to be closer to the beaches 🙂
Go Gators!
Go Albany!!!
Ha ha. They got Connecticut for game one.
They'll be lucky not to lose by 50.

Time to brush up on Robinson's Rules For Rooting! (Scroll down to my post about 3 fifths down the page.)
