I heard snippets from both speaches. I'll not waste my time reading the transcripts. Basically, the gist of it is:
-Everything that's good right now is because of me.
-Government is the way to solve all of our problems.
*SIGH* Another sad day for liberty.
The SOTU is such a comic event, serious analysis is a waste. I'll get my SOTU fix from the Daily Show and the Colbert Report tonight.
If I am elected President, I promise to deliver my entire SOTU address in Klingon...
Presidents should have to write all their own material. Then, with W., we'd get the "go USA" equivelent of "San Dimas High School Football Rules!!"
