For you Western Canadian types, I'll be on The World Tonight with Rob Breakenridge on Calgary's CHQR 770 AM, at 6:30 pm today, talking about Superdome fantasies and other Katrinania. Apparently you can listen live via the Internets.

Would it be too much to ask to be careful not to start a war with the U.S.?
All this saber-rattling has me on edge.

Speaking of WOH!, what about the EU saying they want to "take" management of the Internet from the US?

Or will it be over quick, since "now the world's governments are expected to agree a deal to award themselves ultimate control. It will be officially raised at a UN summit of world leaders next month and, faced with international consensus, there is little the US government can do but acquiesce."?

    Heheh.

Oops a link on the subject would have been nice.

    shouldn't that be Katrina-inaneia?

And somewhat back on the subject, since it's boring to be the only one in the office, I'm still curious about Joe's Superdome fantasy...

    To wit:

And while we're on a roll, would you care to mouth off about the lazy, irresponsible people who could have just walked out of the city at anytime but chose to stay? You know, like you were doing that first week?

Joe, care to point out where I said anything your fevered imagination could construe as that?

Failing that, care to take that back?

Another dandy title, at least for those of us who follow hockey.
