    This one's my favorite.

    You beat me to it!!!

Someone owes me a new monitor... I spit coffee all over this one as soon as I followed the link...

    Great article!

  4. Eion   21 years ago

Probably the funniest thing I've seen all day...

    Pure comic genius.

Personally, I would like to see "Ziggy" matched up with Friedrich Nietzsche. I hate those stupid brats in Family Circus. Come to think of it, I hate Ziggy, too, but it's just such a cheezy cartoon that simply begging to have the captions rewritten.

Can I vote for a mashup of "Love is..."?

"Who among mortal men dared invoke the dark, foreboding powers of the Necrominion to summon the apocalyptic force that is Chthulu?"

    "Not me."

I bet quotes from The Black Cat would work well with Cathy (especially now that she's married 🙂

I used to date a girl who got together with friends and re-wrote the dialog for this strip into something along the lines of a gay porn movie. Very funny. Sick, but funny.

Good lord. My friend Robyn started that LiveJournal community about a week ago, and now it's everywhere!

Soon, her ego will become the Crawling Chaos.

  11. Jim Murphy   21 years ago

Probably the funniest thing I've seen all day too...unfortunately, the link doesn't seem to work anymore. Here's the message:

    >>Journal has been deleted. If you are namelessdread, you have a period of 30 days to decide to undelete your journal.

  12. Franklin Harris   21 years ago

Crap. It was there just a few minutes ago. I suspect the copyright lawyers have been at it again. (Which I also suspect is why I can't get Foxtrot through a LJ feed anymore.)

Does anyone else remember Bill-Dale Marcinko's late `70s perzine, AFTA: The Magazine of Temporary Culture, which featured the "Tom Wilson suicide" Ziggy panel? Now that was funny!

Oh, BTW, that livejournal page has been deleted.

    Kevin
