Teach Them Well
A teacher in a Seminole County, Florida, school has been accused of pushing an autistic child's face into vomit, and punching and choking other special needs students. Kathleen Garret is facing nine counts of child abuse. Her attorney says she is innocent. But parents say they've been complaining of abuse at the school for years, and education officials have ignored them. One woman says she complained about Garrett hitting her daughter five years ago, but didn't pursue the matter after a teacher's union sent her a letter threatening to sue her for slander.
