Judicial Watch has obtained a 1998 Defense Intelligence Agency memo (PDF) that sketches out Osama bin Laden's plans and activities throughout central Asia. The headline-making bit will probably be the DIA's emphasis on Chechnya as a potential "base for training terrorists," due to it being "unreachable by strikes from the West."

The man is diabolically clever. I looked through the document several times and nowhere could I find the word "Iraq" or the name of Saddam.
It also mentions support for the KLA.
