That was too funny. Sadly, Metallica have become a bit of a caricature of themselves. I put it down to the fact that when they were young, those arugments and personality conflicts were the fuel for some great music. As you get older, the differences are still there but the energy isn't in as great a supply and what was formerly passion now degenerates into bitterness. They made some stellar music but lost their way and started suing their fans. In addition, Lars must be one of the most annoying people in music today (I was always a bigger fan of Megadeth anyway).

i have been slowly dying inside, waiting for the day that metallica would finally fulfill their destiny, make this film and metastasize into spinal tap. now it has come -- and i am giddy as a schoolgirl. i'm already laughing uncontrollably.

the only film i currently anticipate as much as this is "team america", because it's the only one that will be even remotely as humorous.

How can the Grauniad have forgotten to mention the cover of the album "Metallica" about ten years ago. "How much more black could it be? None... None more black."
