It's Steve's America…
…the rest of us are just passing through.
Occasional Reason contributor Steve Kurtz has just published Steve's America: A Celebration of Steves. From Steve's Barbershop in Barstow, California to Steve's Pump-n-Grind in University Place, Washington to Steve's Pet Shoppe in Lebanon, New Hampshire to Big Steve's Fast Stop in Inman, South Carolina, you'll find photo after photo of places somehow named Steve.

Actually have bought a couple of copies (for Uncle Steve and brother-in-law Steve.) Two observations: One, it's quite funny. Two, it's the easiest gift for lazy people like me to give to guys called Steve.
