Taking One for the Team
Marchers coming up 7th past 34th street on Sunday could catch themselves on a giant screen on the side of the Macy's there… tuned to Fox News. The result was that just as they came in view of the main batteries of TV cameras, they were chanting, not anti-Bush or anti-War slogans but "Fox News Sucks!" Of course, from many of those camera angles, you couldn't also see the Fox screen, which I can only assume left some viewers wondering why a few hundred thousand people had massed on the streets of Manhattan to protest Fox News.
