Occasional Reason contributor Chris Mooney is the guy to go to for stories about the politicization of science. The Union of Concerned Scientists may not be entirely agenda free themselves, but Mooney's report from their press conference today makes for interesting reading, with unsettling examples of some shady sounding political vetting of scientists and their recommendations from both left and right.
