From Copper to al Qaeda
The new head of al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia is reported to be a former police officer. Surely better than a current police officer, but it makes you wonder about the whole white-hat, black-hat thing in the Kingdom.

A real cop, or the "religious police?"
The Saudi-owned daily published in London sourced the news to al-Qaeda itself without further detail.
I get the feeling this is more of a Saudi press release. Nayef is giving us a head's up of what his end of the government is doing to help inch us towards the caliphate.
None of them actually wear hats, just towels.
Hence the clash of civilizations.
