SADDAM WILL RETURN! someone scrawled on a Baghdad wall. Underneath, someone else answered, THROUGH MY ASS! Slate's Wendell Steavenson reports that Baghdad's walls are covered with argumentative graffiti, not all of it predictable. Who would have expected, DOWN WITH AHMAD CHALABI, MAN OF CATS! Or for that matter, to see it proclaimed that IRAQ IS THE MUSTACHE OF EVERY HONORABLE MAN?

Man, I'm starting to think the entire world has better political graffiti than the US. About the best thing I've seen around here is the occasional "BUSH = HITLER" or "BUSH WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR 9-11". (Plus about a million of "STOP BUSH" written so it looks like "ST.P BUSH", obviously all the same guy.) Forget voter apathy, even our taggers are apathetic.
