God damn, that's funny!
Hee! that's a hoot an'a half
That's so sweet, I almost crapped my pants!
It's like those Cthulhu in '92 bumper stickers - "Why Vote For The Lesser Evil"...
Larry, it's a pity Cthulhu doesn't run every four years. Unlike most candidates, his immemorial stench is eternal.
Yes, many other people want to get eaten first.
As a gamer, I have forced myself to read Chick's God-awful (pun intended) anti-D&D screed "Dark Dungeons."
And you can read it again here!
I was so proud of my collection of Chick tracts, obtained by dutifully checking areas of certain Philadelphia train stations where people would leave tracts every day after school, until the bastard put them all online, rendering my collection useless.
As a gamer, I have forced myself to read Chick's God-awful (pun intended) anti-D&D screed "Dark Dungeons." When the stars are right again, and the Great Old Ones sweep down from the stars to whipe the Earth clean, I hope Chick is the first to be devoured in Great Cthulhu's maw.
Larry, I've also seen Cthulhu stickers that are parodies of the Jesus fish, that is, a freakish fish-like creature with a horrible mass of tentacles stretching out from it, and Cthulhu inscribed on its body.
I used to read HPL when I needed something to help me sleep many years ago.
Dark Dungeons is also probably the most parodied Chick track on line. My two favorites are these:
Dork Dungeons

The latter, btw, was threatened with lawsuits from the Chickster himself when he discovered it.
I know this is a bit after the fact, but I just wanted to bemoan how sad it is that the creator of the Cthulhu tract caved in after just one letter...the tract was covered under fair use, and being satire the case wouldn't have held up in court. Very sad...
