Picture Perfect
Police in Charleston, South Carolina, wanted help in tracking down the man who robbed a local bank, so they released a surveillance photo of the robber to newspapers, TV stations and other media. After they plastered the photo all over the place, the family of the man in the picture called to say he wasn't the robber, just a customer. The police checked out the story, and they found he was indeed just someone who was in the bank at the time it was robbed.
