Justice Is Blind Drunk
California Superior Court Judge Diana Hall was convicted of DUI in a case stemming from an argument with her former domestic partner, Deidra Dykeman. Dykeman claimed Hall bit her and threatened to shoot one of her dogs during the argument. Hall was arrested by deputies a short time after leaving their home. She had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18, more than double the legal limit of 0.08. The jury acquitted Hall of battery.
