Does It Have a Cement Pond?
Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe's retirement home will be as large as a medium-size hotel. The three-story home, which sits on three acres of land, includes an office suite, two-story reception rooms, and up to 25 bedrooms complete with adjoining bathrooms and spas. Architects who have seen photos of the building say it will likely cost more than $9 million. Meanwhile, the nation's economy is in shambles, and the World Food Program estimates almost half the population will need food aid by the end of the year.
