Sidd Finch is dead. Long live Sidd Finch.
So I guess they only come in threes until the fourth one comes along.
The first Plimpton book I ever read was Paper Lion. I could not believe that anyone would be stupid enough to strap it on in the NFL for the sake of a novel. That he did not get killed during that (or any of his other) forays into sports is a miracle. The books that resulted were gems. Wonder what he'll write about up there?
Damn. We'll never be able to see the George Plimpton/Peter Billingsley reunion Intellivision vs. Atari 2600 commercial.
