I suppose it's possible that somewhere, probably deep in the depths of Kalifornia or Taxachussets, someone is really excited about one of these candidates. Hard to imagine...
See, that's the difference between the parties. The appeal of Ronald Reagan or George W to Republicans isn't unimaginable to me at all. In fact, it can be understood by any creature that's evolved to rat brain level.

Unfortunately, the more apt comparison is to "Joe Millionaire," when voters find out at the end that their candidate is a complete fraud.
Compared to Bush or the Dem's "terrible ten" Reagan looks like utopia. But there are good some Republicans in congress. Check out the NTU site:http://www.ntu.org/ and the Republican Liberty Caucus site:http://www.rlc.org/

Actually, from a libertarian perspective (big or small L), Reagan was the best pres since Calvin Coolidge. Of course, that shows how far from libertarianism this countrys been . . .
