Scarlet Letters
When several students cut classes at a New York middle school, rumors ran rampant. Some said they had attended a party where at least some of the students had sex. When the children returned to school, they were interrogated by the authorities. But that apparently wasn't enough of an investigation. School officials reportedly demanded that the girls, but not the boys, undergo STD and pregnancy tests and reveal the results before they returned to class.
