Israeli scientists have found that ova for in vitro fertilization can be harvested from aborted fetuses. Outrage has been quick from those one would expect to be outraged… but I wonder, would a pro-life freegan be OK with this?

Too bad the BBC can't report on this.
    NOT.

"Outrage has been quick from those one would expect to be outraged..."
    how outrageously consistent of 'em.

    Great quote in the article:

The main problem with using the technique as a source of eggs for fertility treatments is that the fetus cannot consent to the use of her eggs, Smitz said.

If the fetus has a right to object to medical procedures, she might object to the one that makes her an aborted fetus in the first place.

On a positive note, a woman can have grandchildren without going through the hassle of having children first.

I wonder if Hallmark has a card for this one?

    And this is surprising because.....

It's been obvious for years that this could be done. You could take them from cadavers too.

Now if they could just figure out how to mature sperm early, you could have your children and grandchildren at the same time. In theory, I guess you could run through a couple hundred generations in a decade...

I knew this girl once who was breastfeeding her sister.

This could be an Onion column: "Ask a Pro-Life Freegan"
