Bobbleheads Against Drunk Driving
The federal government has given the state of Tennessee millions of dollars for ad campaigns promoting highway safety. Where has the money gone? Well, $40,000 of it went to buy Scott Hartnell bobblehead dolls given away to Nashville Predators fans. The only traffic safety advertising on the dolls is a "Governor's Highway Safety Office" logo. The state also paid $22,000 for plastic fangs and ponied up $100,000 to sponsor the Predators' Smashville season theme.
