Toronto residents are buzzing about Mayor Mel Lastman's recent appearance on CNN to discuss that city's problems with SARS. Lastman said he had not heard of the World Health Organization, didn't really seem to know how many SARS cases Toronto had, and suggested 500 members of a religious group had been exposed to the disease in the Philippines, even though health officials say they were exposed in Toronto.
