Breastfeeding on Film Is Not a Crime
It began with a family reunion and some photographs and ended with the Dallas police charging Jacqueline Mercado with producing child porn and the state taking her two children away. The police and a grand jury apparently believe that anytime a mouth touches a nipple, it must be sexual. Mercado's lawyer finally convinced the district attorney that local churches were filled with similar images, and the charges were dropped. But Mercado still hasn't gotten custody of her infant and her 4-year-old son back.
