When Crossbows Are Outlawed

Following an attack that seriously injured two girls, New South Wales Police Minister John Watkins wants a national ban on crossbows. "Crossbows are killing machines—nothing else," he said. "Trafficking in these weapons is as deadly as drugs or guns." New South Wales already bans crossbows. Australia also bans many types of firearms, requires all guns to be registered, and mandates that all gun owners be licensed. Those laws didn't prevent the two girls from being injured. One more should do the trick.
