Australian Prime Minister John Howard has backed the limited use of marijuana for medical purposes, conditionally. "Only where there is no mainstream treatment available," and only if it isn?t smoked, he told The West Australian newspaper. "If it?s dispensed in some way, tablet or spray—I would give it in-principle support."

  1. G’day, mate. I don’t think you meant “wog” though: http://www.aussie-info.com/identity/language/ I forget what Kiwis call Australians. Oh yeah, “Australian bastards.”

  2. No, seriously, you shouldn’t inhale wogs. You’ll end up with the Green Flu.

    Is this thing on?

  3. Wogs? I didn’t see any ethnic references in the article. Is this some sort of gratuitous attempt to call Howard a racist?

  4. Great to see Matt Welch blogging on Hit and Run!

About the “dispensing” of Mary Jane … How about Brownies?

Where it says to add walnuts in the directions, simply add 1/2 to 1 oz. Mary Jane.

  5. And there are always vaporizers.

You may be in severe pain, you may be vomiting like a culinaryily content Roman (or an employee at Conde Nast), but whatever you do, DON’T INHALE ANY SMOKE!

Damn, people are sick in the head.

  6. Flintstones Chewables?

  7. “‘Only where there is no mainstream treatment available,'” and only if it isn?t smoked, he told The West Australian newspaper. “‘If it?s dispensed in some way, tablet or spray — I would give it in-principle support.'”

Yet another politician unwill to take a real stand on something. They have those in Australia too?

  8. Now in suppository form!

  9. “Flintstones Chewables?”

    A million strong and growing.
