what? other places where the US isn't are crazy screwed up too? quiet jesse or i will brand thee a neocon! we need gore vidal to investigate, this is all bush's fault...

  2. thomas salizy   22 years ago

nah, he can't be a neocon. israel is 1000s of miles away from those places. and there's no oil.

  3. Joe L.   22 years ago

" israel is 1000s of miles away from those places. and there's no oil.'
Sure, fool yourself. We know all about THOSE people and they want control of the EARTH, and to sleep with our daughters/sisters. Eugene Volokh admits to the latter, so I'm betting its the Je... uh, I mean the Neo-Cons.

  4. thomas salizy   22 years ago

ah yes. throw the anti semitic comment as quickly as the pc lefties throw out racism or fascism.

At to the list the Karen, a minority ethnic group in Burma, who are waging a decades long pseudo-war. Yet another people that the British used in the second world war, in exchange for promises of independence. (Which, naturally, went unfulfilled.)

And now . . . for your edification:

"He who is a monopolist of final arbitration within a given territory can legislate in his own favor. Moreover, he who can legislate, can also tax and thus enrich himself at the expense of others." -- Hans H. Hoppe.

Don't worry, our compassionate conservative president will liberate those poor people, just as he was moved to rescue the poor Iraqi people.

  8. Anonymous   22 years ago

maybe he should, or do you believe that freedom should be there for brown people?

  9. joe   22 years ago

I'd be thrilled if Bush began supporting liberation movements. So far he hasn't, and has made clear in word and (lack of) deed that he does not. Taking over a country, shooting any locals that dare to appear in public armed, and installing a puppet regime in which uncooperative parties aren't allowed to participate, doesn't count.

    Brown people?

  10. Leviticus 12:5   22 years ago

"And there will be wars and rumors of wars"

    For EVER?

  11. Kevin Carson   22 years ago

Oh, and BTW: Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Michael Novak, Alan Keyes and Bill Bennett are just veritable Elders of Zion, aren't they?

  12. B.Savage   22 years ago

Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Michael Novak, Alan Keyes and Bill Bennett are all just has-beens. They don't influence anyone any longer. (You stuck in the 80's or something?)

We're talking NEO-cons here, Kevin. You know? Neo, as in "new". OK? Get with the program, will ya.
