Nude and Alive
From Italy comes a reminder about the huge gulf between America and the Old World when it comes to nudity. The Genoa Tumor Istitute is selling a calendar with photos of nude women who have had breast reconstruction. The idea is to show that there is life for women after breast cancer. There have a been a few complaints about the photos, but support has outweighed them. It is hard to imagine any US cancer institute even trying such a thing.
