Poems
You had left…
But I still found you here
A single strand of hair
Was your head upon my pillow
While standing in the hall
A breath was taken deeply
And your fragrance was still…
Startled, I thought perhaps you'd returned.
Gently folding my shirt
The pink from your lips
Was slightly smudged there
And my mind was holding you again.
What a life she gave to me
A year of:
Vermillion
Flowers
Purple
Birds
Indigo
Trees
Azure
Sky
Ocher
Roads
And Alabaster
Love.
