Matt Welch Talks Filibuster Politics on Fox Business Network

This morning, as word of a "nuclear option"-averting agreement was filtering out of Capitol Hill, I went on Fox Business Network's Market Now to talk about why non-partisans find this stuff so tedious:

    Did you get to meet Tim McCarver, Matt? I know he's a personal favorite.

  • Matt Welch||

    Sadly, we missed each other. I would have asked him about hitting all those triples.

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    I hate to complain, but the first two and a half minutes weren't exactly pertinent. Welch regrew his Chuck Heston beard waiting for the hyped segment to start.

    Also noted. Perhaps terms of use by Fox?

  • Palin's Buttplug||

    The Senate GOP caved pretty easily once their only tool was under threat.

    tedious indeed

  • Tony||

    Don't worry I have a thing for GOP cock too.

    Matt= new tie (at the very least unseen). Also, beard.

    Is it Brooklyn? I have suspicions.

    side issue = KG and Paul Pierce now Nets. Jayson Kidd to coach? Discuss.

  • Matt Welch||

    I fear you are paying too close attention...

    I'm never a fan of getting older, but I'm no basketball expert....

  • Paul.||

    Matt, did they sent a town car or a Limo? I hear these fly-by-night operations send a towncar unless you demand the limo.

  • Matt Welch||

    I take the subway, unless it's CNBC (out in New Jersey some goddamned place).

  • sam the man||

    Was the woman host retarded or something?
