OWS Los Angeles Clashes with LAPD; Promises to "F**K Grey Aliens," Illuminati, Satan

Just days after Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protesters were cleared out of New York's privately owned Zuccotti Park, OWS protests were held across the country in a show of solidarity.

Unlike other municipal authorities who have grown tired of the Occupy movement, the Los Angeles City Council still maintains its open invitation to the protesters to occupy City Hall's lawn.

But on November 17, OWS protesters left their lawn and took to the streets, first blocking downtown traffic during rush hour and later, when they marched to the doorsteps of Bank of America and Wells Fargo.

Reason.tv was on the scene for the march to the banks and captured some of the day's 26 arrests. Violence was minimal, as purple-shirted organizers of the march from the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) worked to keep most protesters out of the street.

While most of the protesters were exercised by the economy and government bailouts, at least one participant's main beef seemed to be with Satan, "Grey Aliens" (who are controlled by "the Reptilians"), and the Illuminati (starts at 2-minute mark).

Check out Reason.tv's ongoing OWS videos and coverage here.

About 4 minutes. Shot and produced by Zach Weissmueller and Tracy Oppenheimer, who also narrate.

    Raaaaaaaaaacisst!

  • Tonio||

    Here in Richmond (VA) the TP sent the city govt an invoice to try to recover the permitting, insurance and other fees associated with a recent one-day rally. The local Occupy group camped out for weeks in the same park without permit, etc.

    Oops, that was meant to be a response to Romulus, below. Threaded comments, how do they work?

    Phila., and other cities, are "negotiating" with Occupy movements to determine the conditions of allowing on-going protests. Just as soon as agreements are reached, the
    Tea Party people should go to the same officials and demand they be allowed the same deal. Then will see if special privileges are being granted the Occupiers or not.

  • Tonio||

    I agree, but I don't see the TP wanting to camp out.

    Also, see my 9:05 above.

  • Live Free or Diet||

    Free use of Kanawha Plaza is conditional on sleeping over? How about the free Bottom's Up pizza?

    I'm glad the Tea Party here in Richmond is still trying to get their money back. They had two of the city council meeting's speaking slots the other night. The place was packed.

  • Tonio||

    You know that Occupy Richmond is now encamped next door to the Mayor's home - in the back yard of the publisher of the Richmond Free Press who invited them there. Delicious.

    Dear Po-Po,

    Please stop manufacturing martyrs for a cause that will burn itself out soon, if not entirely until after they get Obama elected again.

    Thanks,
    SugarFree

  • wareagle||

    the only people who see martyrs are the ones who were predisposed toward thinking OWS had anything constructive to say. Watch the videos - not a single person being arrested goes peacefully. Each one tries to escalate the conflict, hoping to provoke "that one cop" who might go overboard. In some cities, they have taken to blocking bridges and other means of infringing on the rights of others.

    Obviously the police are controlled by the grey aliens and Satan, but I did not know the Illuminati pulled their strings as well. You learn something everyday.

    The Reptilians apparently don't like to get their hands (?) dirty by directly interfacing with law enforcement, instead having the greys tell LEO to provide "the opportunity" for protesters to go to jail.

    Tell me about it. I miss one meeting, only to find out this.

    It IS Buildabears! My 6 year old daughter went to a birthday party at one. After she got home she told me how she had a budget and was forced to make choices!! She didn't even seem to mind a spending limit!

    Citizen SugarFree,

    Thank you for your concern regarding our image with the public and the swift and even handed enforcement of the law.

    As you may know, we at the Po Po have nothing but the highest regard for the rights of our fellow civilians, err, citizens and strive ever forward to incorporate the ideals of our fellow citizens with our mission statement of ever increasing funding for the common good. Our mission of maintaining the safety and general order is in line with the public interest. Again, thank you for your concern and close attention regarding the public's exercising their (grey) inalienable right to free speech, the freedom of peaceable assembly, and the appropriation of general welfare for the common interest(s).

    Regards,

    The Po-Po

    P.S. Do you own a dog, citizen?

    STOP RESISTING!

  • Fist of Etiquette||

    What I don't understand is why the Po Po, in their letter, would correct a misstatement with an "err" rather than simply backspace over the mistake and type the correct word before posting. Seems like something a reverse vampire might have them do.

  • Tonio||

    Tracy and Zach, you're not doing youselves (Reason) any favors by focusing your OWS coverage on an extra specially unhinged nutjob. OWS' mainstream rhetoric (redistribution, etc) is already loathsome enough to the average American. No need to trot out the extreme cases.

  • ##||

    Point taken but I often find it hard to tell the difference between extra special unhinged nutjobs and OWS mainstream rhetoric.

  • BikeRider||

    Sadly I have to disagree. I think the redistribution rhetoric rings quite well with many, many middle Americans. That's because they foolishly believe the $$ will be redistributed TO them instead of FROM them.

  • Tonio||

    Perhaps, but I still think this type of coverage damages the credibility of Reason. I think some actual footage of the OWS internal decision-making process (revolutionary stacks, etc) would be much more effective and accurate.

  • BikeRider||

    On that I agree. From the limited coverage I've seen, their decision process (if it can be called a process at all) is a joke and shows what a disorganized non-purpose mob they really are.

  • ||

    If you can even get that footage. The Occutards have gotten quite militant about running off people taking video.

  • Nuttin Personal||

    I still think this type of coverage damages the credibility of Reason

    Nuh-uh. Reason lost most of its credibility years ago.

    So bot i am unclear on your up-line. Do you report to the Illuminati or the Greys? Cause I though the Trilateral commission and the Council on Foreign Relations directed all technological projects but it seems the reptiliams are making large scale management changes. I hate re-orgs for the sake of re-orging.

    In this comment thread: More authoritarian bootlickers pimping "freedom" while cheering violent cops.

    Google sees all and forgets nothing. We'll always know exactly who "libertarians" stood with when the time came.

    Ha ha.

  • Redefiler||

    I cheer not the police, but I do cheer the highly anticipated return and brutal tactics of Jack Frost. Occupy brats don't stand a chance against winter, even here in sunny Southern California. This weekend's rain has already washed away a good amount of scum. The bacterial and viral swirls from overflowing downtown LA gutters will handle the rest.

    Im speculating that even the most fevered prog is unwilling to risk frost bite or even damp shoes, and hence the real reason other occupy movements are losing steam.

  • ||

    I would rather be exposed to the inconveniencies attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

    People keep bitching about the Occupiers but this phrase still wrings true to me. I would rather live in a country where peoplePeople keep bitching about the Occupiers but this phrase still wrings true to me. I would rather live in a country where people can campout in public spaces without fear of police brutality than I would live in a society that "freedom" was "imposed" by the state.
